Mulit-Genre Project Reflection

I read through the projects and the one that stuck out to me was the one about fairy tales. Of course it did. I am in love with fairy tales. But I didn't like this one. That's not why it stuck out to me. It stuck out because it made me mad. The girl who worked on this project was talking about how they weren't true and how they showed young women that they NEEDED a man to come and "save them." I agree that they aren't true and they aren't even realistic but as girls grow up they realize that life isn't a fairy tale. She also talked about how the stories always end in happily ever after. She said that life doesn't end in a happily ever after. Yes life isn't like a fairy tale so of course it wouldn't end in ever happiness. Happiness is a choice. You may even have to work at it a little bit. Life is not a fairy tale but they do make little girls and may be even adults happy.

I have an idea to do a project and research on the second goal in the millennium goals. I want to do it about the success rate of educated kids and non-educated kids. This is just my first idea. It may change.
