Article Reponse #2

The first story I read was CoverForCover. BabyDaddyBooks publishing company prints books and sales them to families. With CoverForCover, each book that is sold by BabyDaddyBooks, a book is given to a kid in a low income home. The goal is to give under privileged kids books to learn how to read. The founder is a man named Mike Nemeth. He received kids’ books for his daughter and thought they were boring or sappy.  He started to write kids’ books to make reading a more enjoyable experience for the whole family.

The next story is OAK(ordinary acts of kindness)  lifestyle.  Jessica Sjolseth is the founder of Oak lifestyle.  OAK sales backpacks and every bag that is sold another backpack and school supplies is given to a kid. They want the kids to have a successful school life so they can succeed.  Another goal of theirs is to give the kids a boost to let them know that they can succeed.

The last story is Do Good Buy Us. Zach  Rosenberg is the founder of Do Good Buy Us. They are a website that sales all sorts of different products. There goods are sold to give money for nonprofit organizations. They don’t directly help people in need but they do help organizations that do.

My passion would have to be little kids and teaching them the basics such has reading, writing, and math. This has been my passion for my entire high school career. I have always wanted to be an elementary teacher since I was in elementary school. The first story caught my attention because it has to do with my passion. The organization helps kids learn how to read. The second story also has to with my passion by giving kids a good start at school by being prepared. The last story was one that doesn't  have to do with my passion but I thought was cool because it didn't directly affect people in need but helped them by helping the other organizations at succeeding.

If I didn't have to worry about money I would still be a teacher. I have wanted to be a teacher for so long I can’t think of doing anything else. This would involve helping kids to the best of my ability with any kind of educational problems they had. I would help them succeed in school.
