Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

     The book starts off with Harry at home waiting for news about He who must not be named. He wants to know all of the happenings in the wizarding world, but his uncle and aunt won't let him get any letters or news from his friends. Which really doesn't even matter because his friends aren't speaking to him and Harry doesn't know why. He is confused and angry at his friend, Voldemort, Dumbledore, his family, and at the general public. Harry says, "Well I'm glad he left. If he hadn't, I would still have done magic and Dumbledore would probably have left me at Privet Drive all summer (pg64)." You can hear the anger in Harry's voice. He is mad at Dumbledore for leaving him all alone. He is mad at his friends for not telling him anything over the summer. He is anger with the public because they don't believe that He who must not be named has come back like Harry said he was.

     The ministry of magic is trying to protect the public by making sure that He who most not be named is really back.When he finally sees his friends, they explain why they weren't sending him letters. His friends and lots of wizards he knows are in a secret group called the order of the phoenix. Dumbledore is in charge. Dumbledore has decided that he is going to ignore Harry which makes Harry even more upset with Dumbledore. Harry was brought to the Order of the Phoenix because he has broken the law. He has to go to court to see whether or not he can go back to Hogwarts. Harry goes to the trail and gets to go back to school because Dumbledore comes to his rescue just like most of the time.
